The Kentwood Kangaroos baseball team (Kentwood, LA), was overwhelmed 13-5 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host Independence Tigers (Independence, LA)

The Tigers now hold a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scotlandville for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 16. Independence will face a Hornets team coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Pine (Franklinton, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 3-7.

Next, the Kangaroos face the Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA) in a 1A District 9 outing, on Tuesday, March 19. Kentwood will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record.
