North Carolina High School Basketball - North Mecklenburg nips Lake Norman

March 14, 2024: Mooresville, NC 28117

North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC), 65-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 29-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 32-0. New Hanover won 55-53 in their recent non-league bout against Richmond (Rockingham, NC)
