March 14, 2024: Fayetteville, NC 28303 The Fayetteville Academy Eagles soccer team scored 5 points and limited the visiting Greenfield Knights to 2 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
Next, the Eagles face the Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans (Henderson, NC) in a NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A contest, on Tuesday, March 19. Fayetteville Academy will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 6-0 league loss to Oakwood (Greenville, NC).
The Knights now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to DASH for a non-league contest on Monday, March 18. Greenfield will face a United team coming off a 0-0 non-league West Carteret (Morehead City, NC). The United record now stands at 2-0.
