Tahoma Bears (Maple Valley, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Redmond Mustangs (Redmond, WA), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ephrata for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16.

With the loss, Redmond falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Newport - Bellevue (Bellevue, WA) to battle the Knights in a 4A KingCo challenge on Monday, March 18. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
