In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Enumclaw Hornets baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Anacortes Seahawks.

The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Kent-Meridian (Kent, WA). The Royals go into the 3A/4A N. Puget Sound game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Kent-Meridian nudged Renton (Renton, WA), 14-6, in a non-league game.
