The Shining Light Baptist Academy Sharks baseball squad (Monroe, NC), was overwhelmed 12-2 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Fayetteville Street Christian Patriots (Asheboro, NC)

With the triumph, Fayetteville Street Christian moves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Patriots travel to True Gospel Christian (Madison, NC) to confront the Grizzly in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 18. The Grizzly come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

The Sharks now possess a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockwell Christian School for a NCCSA A District 2 - West Region contest on Monday, March 24.
