The Upper Merion Area Vikings (King of Prussia, PA) baseball trounced the host Interboro Buccaneers (Prospect Park, PA), 8-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Wissahickon for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24.

With the defeat, Interboro drops to 0-1 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Great Valley (Malvern, PA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 17. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Great Valley won 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Harriton (Rosemont, PA)
