In Friday's league outing, the visiting Carolina International Comets soccer squad scored a tight 7-2 win over the Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats.

The Comets (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Patriots enter the Metro Eight 1A outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Piedmont Community Charter was overwhelmed by Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC), 6-1, in a non-league outing.
