Colorado High School Lacrosse - Cherokee Trail nipped by Lakewood
March 14, 2025: Aurora, CO 80016 Lakewood Tigers (Lakewood, CO) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the host Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO), 5-4 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Lakewood improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Tigers host Grandview (Aurora, CO) to play the Wolves in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 25. The Wolves come into the game with a record of 3-0. Grandview won 10-2 in their recent non-league game against Mountain Range (Westminster, CO)
The Cougars now have a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Castle View for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 26. Cherokee Trail will play a Sabercats team coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Ponderosa (Parker, CO). The Sabercats record now stands at 1-1.
