March 14, 2025: Douglasville, GA 30135 Alexander Cougars (Douglasville, GA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA), 3-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Alexander advances its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Rome (Rome, GA) to clash with the Wolves in a 6A Area 5 test on Tuesday, March 18. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 6-2. Rome won 5-2 in their recent league test against Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA)
The Spartans now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host New Manchester for a 6A Area 5 test on Tuesday, March 18. South Paulding will clash with a Jaguar team coming off a 6-0 league loss to East Paulding (Dallas, GA). The Jaguar record now stands at 3-4.
