South Carolina High School Soccer - Hanahan nudges Porter-Gaud
March 14, 2025: Charleston, SC 29407 The Hanahan Hawks soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Porter-Gaud Cyclones to 1 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Hanahan moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC) to clash with the Landsharks in a AAA Region 6 test on Tuesday, March 18. The Landsharks come into the test with a record of 2-0. Oceanside Collegiate Academy won 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC)
The Cyclones now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Charleston Collegiate for a non-league test on Monday, March 17. Porter-Gaud will clash with a Sundevils team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Beaufort Academy (Beaufort, SC). The Sundevils record now stands at 0-3.
