The McNairy Central Bobcats edged the visiting Itawamba Agricultural Indians softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 17. McNairy Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Aggies enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 11-8 non-league loss to McNairy Central (Selmer, TN).

The Indians (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hatley (Amory, MS). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Hatley edged New Site (New Site, MS), 11-1, in a league challenge.
