The Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) softball nipped the host Monticello Billies (Monticello, AR), 6-5 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Lions now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamburg for a non-league outing on Friday, March 14. Ouachita Parish will encounter a Lions team coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR). The Lions record now stands at 2-3.
