The West Harrison Hurricanes softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Union Yellowjackets to 0 in the Hurricanes non-league win on Friday.

The Hurricanes now possess a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Picayune for a 6A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, March 18. West Harrison will confront a Maroon Tide team coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Union moves to 7-7 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Lake (Lake, MS) to confront the Hornets in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 15.
