Nevada High School Softball - Battle Mountain bounces Oasis Academy

March 14, 2026: Battle Mountain, NV 89820

The Battle Mountain Longhorns softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Oasis Academy Bighorns to 1 in the Longhorns league win on Saturday.

The Longhorns now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pershing County for a 2A- Northern battle on Tuesday, March 17. Battle Mountain will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 10-0 league win over Incline (Incline Village, NV). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-1.

The Bighorns (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA). The Lakers enter the 2A- Northern challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, North Tahoe was routed by Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV), 19-2, in a league challenge.
