March 14, 2026: Guy, AR 72061 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR) softball team routed the host Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds (Guy, AR), by a margin of 12-0.
The Timberwolves now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sloan-Hendrix for a 2A Region 2 outing on Monday, March 16. Cedar Ridge will encounter a Greyhounds team coming off a 20-5 non-league win over Blytheville (Blytheville, AR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Guy-Perkins moves to 0-6 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Hillcrest (Strawberry, AR) to clash with the Screamin Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, March 16. The Screamin Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-2. Hillcrest lost 20-4 in their recent league test against Armorel (Armorel, AR)
