March 15, 2022: El Cajon, CA 92019 The El Capitan Vaqueros volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Christian Patriots to 0 in the Vaqueros non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Vaqueros now have a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Miguel for a Grossmont Valley game on Wednesday, March 16. El Capitan will meet a Matadors team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Health Sciences (San Diego, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 1-2.
The Patriots (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Hoover (San Diego, CA). The Cardinals enter the City game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Hoover dropped by Liberty Charter (Lemon Grove, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
