Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), 9-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Western Branch upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bruins travel to Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA) to battle the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 19. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Great Bridge falls to 0-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA) to battle the Gators in a non-league test on Friday, March 18.
