Ferndale Eagles (Ferndale, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Michigan Collegiate Cougars (Warren, MI), 69-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ferndale upgrades its record to 19-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Goodrich (Goodrich, MI) to clash with the Martians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 21. The Martians go into the bout with a record of 22-4. Goodrich won 56-39 in their recent non-league bout against Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI)
