The Apex Friendship Patriots lacrosse squad (Apex, NC), was overwhelmed 9-4 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC)

Coming up next, the Cougars meet the Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) in a Northern Athletic challenge, on Tuesday, March 21. Wake Forest will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 14-7 league win over Millbrook (Raleigh, NC).

The Patriots now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cary for a Southwest Wake challenge on Thursday, March 16. Apex Friendship will meet a Imps squad coming off a 25-5 league loss to Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Imps record now stands at 1-6.
