Virginia High School Softball - Heritage bounces Jefferson
March 15, 2023: Leesburg, VA 20175 Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Heritage Pride (Leesburg, VA) and the visiting Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV), witnessed Heritage's softball squad tip Jefferson by a count of 12-5.
The Pride now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Stone Bridge for a non-league match on Monday, March 20. Heritage will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 20-6 non-league win over Langley (McLean, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Jefferson moves to 0-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV) to face the Bulldogs in a match on Tuesday, March 21. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 0-1. Martinsburg lost 15-0 in their recent league match against Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV)
