In Wednesday's league contest, the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) lacrosse squad edged the visiting Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC), by a count of 8-7.

Coming up next, the Vikings confront the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a Mideastern contest, on Friday, March 17. Hoggard will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Scorpions come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 17-1 league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC).
