North Carolina High School Softball - Hickory Ridge bounces South Stanly

The Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls routed the visiting South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls softball squad by a final score of 5-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Ragin' Bulls (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats go into the Greater Metro 4A battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Lake Norman held off Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC), 5-1, in a non-league battle.

The Rowdy Rebel Bulls now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount Pleasant for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A challenge on Thursday, March 16. South Stanly will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 10-4 non-league win over West Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.
