March 15, 2024: Myrtle Beach, SC 29579 Carolina Forest Panthers (Myrtle Beach, SC) backers went home happy Friday as they saw their baseball squad knock off the visiting Calvary Day School Cougars (Winston-Salem, NC), 8-5 in a non-league battle.
Coming up next, the Panthers play the Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC) in a 5A Region 5 battle, on Monday, March 18. Carolina Forest will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Gamecocks enter the battle with a 6-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC).
The Cougars now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atlantic Collegiate Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 16.
