In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Loyola Cubs baseball team scored a tight 6-4 victory over the Gahr Gladiators.

The Cubs (5-6) will now prepare for their game against St. Francis (La Canada, CA). The Golden Knights go into the Mission game with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, St. Francis got by Taft (Woodland Hills, CA), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
