Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA) and the visiting Mission Bears (San Francisco, CA), saw San Mateo's baseball squad knock off Mission by a count of 20-2.

Coming up next, the Bearcats play the El Camino Colts (South San Francisco, CA) in a Peninsula - Ocean battle, on Tuesday, March 19. San Mateo will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Colts enter the battle with a 4-2 record after their 5-0 league win over Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA).
