Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Skagway Panthers (Skagway, AK) and the host Z John Williams Hawks (Napaskiak, AK), saw Skagway's basketball squad hold off Z John Williams by a tally of 42-38.

With the victory, Skagway improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Scammon Bay (Scammon Bay, AK) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 17-11. Scammon Bay won 76-49 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Mary's (St. Mary's, AK)
