The Woodford County Yellowjackets lacrosse squad (Versailles, KY), was overwhelmed 22-5 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY)

Coming up next, the Spartans meet the Henry Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY) in a CHSGLL East challenge, on Sunday, March 17. Sayre will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 13-7 non-league loss to Mount Notre Dame (Cincinnati, OH).

The Yellowjackets now sport a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lafayette for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 22.
