March 15, 2024: Portland, OR 97206 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR) and the visiting Parkrose Broncos (Portland, OR), witnessed Franklin's softball squad prevail over Parkrose by a count of 13-2.
The Quakers now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to South Salem for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 19. Franklin will face a Saxons squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Corvallis (Corvallis, OR). The Saxons record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Parkrose moves to 0-2 on the season. The Broncos host Grant (Portland, OR) to face the Generals in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 19. The Generals go into the match with a record of 0-1. Grant lost 15-5 in their recent non-league match against Ridgeview (Redmond, OR)
