Kentucky High School Softball - Union County can't hold off Trigg County
March 15, 2024: Cadiz, KY 42211 The Trigg County Wildcats softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Union County Braves to 9 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Trigg County improves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Crittenden County (Marion, KY) to clash with the Rockets in a District 5 game on Monday, March 18. The Rockets come into the game with a record of 3-1. Crittenden County won 4-3 in their recent non-league game against Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY)
In their next game, the Braves clash with the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 18. Union County will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Marshals come into the game with a 4-1 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Johnston City (Johnston City, IL).
