North Carolina High School Baseball - Central Davidson wallops Bishop McGuinness
March 15, 2025: Kernersville, NC 27284 The Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) baseball trounced the host Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC), 12-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ledford for a Mid-Piedmont 3A challenge on Tuesday, March 18. Central Davidson will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 5-2.
With the defeat, Bishop McGuinness drops to 2-6 on the year. The Villains host Carver (Winston-Salem, NC) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a Northwest Piedmont 1A challenge on Tuesday, March 18. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Carver lost 14-0 in their recent league challenge against Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC)
