Louisiana High School Baseball - Kaplan edges Lafayette Christian Academy
March 15, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70507 In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Kaplan Pirates baseball team scored a close 7-5 win over the Lafayette Christian Academy Knights.
The Pirates (10-7) will now prepare for their game against Erath (Erath, LA). The Bobcats go into the 3A District 5 game with a 9-9 record. In their last game, Erath nudged Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA), 10-7, in a non-league game.
Next, the Knights play the Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 17. Lafayette Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 13-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 16-3 record after their 23-7 non-league win over Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA).
