South Carolina High School Baseball - Summerville edges Lexington
March 15, 2025: Lexington, SC 29072 The Summerville Green Wave baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Lexington Wildcats to 2 in the Green Wave non-league win on Saturday.
The Green Wave now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Myers Park for a non-league test on Friday, March 21. Summerville will play a Mustangs team coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-3.
With the defeat, Lexington drops to 3-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Irmo (Columbia, SC) to play the Yellow Jackets in a 5A Region 4 test on Tuesday, March 18. The Yellow Jackets go into the test with a record of 7-2. Irmo won 16-2 in their recent non-league test against Spring Valley (Columbia, SC)
