March 15, 2025: Cupertino, CA 95014 The Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Matadors now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to El Cerrito for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 15. Monta Vista will clash with a Gauchos team coming off a 2-0 league win over Hercules (Hercules, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 6-0.
With the loss, Alameda drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA) to clash with the Trojans in a bout on Wednesday, March 19. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Castro Valley lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against San Leandro (San Leandro, CA)
