March 15, 2025: Oakdale, CA 95361 The Pittsburg Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Oakdale Mustangs to 0 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Pirates now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to McClatchy for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 15. Pittsburg will play a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA). The Lions record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Oakdale drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Mountain House (Mountain House, CA) to meet the Mustangs in a contest on Monday, March 17. The Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 3-1. Mountain House lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA)
