March 15, 2025: Provo, UT 84601 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles (Provo, UT) and the visiting Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle (Draper, UT), observed Freedom Prep Academy's volleyball team hold off Juan Diego Catholic by a count of 3-2.
The Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant, UT). The Tigers enter the 3A Region 3 contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Wasatch Academy got by Rockwell (Eagle Mountain, UT), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Soaring Eagle meet the North Sanpete Hawks (Mt. Pleasant, UT) in a 3A Region 2 contest, on Tuesday, March 18. Juan Diego Catholic will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Ogden (Ogden, UT).
