With the win, South improves its record to 7-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 15. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 4-6. Gabrielino lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Wilson (Los Angeles, CA)
The Miners now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a non-league battle on Monday, March 17. Sunrise Mountain will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Eastside (Lancaster, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.
