The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Valley View Eagles (Moreno Valley, CA) and the host Poly Bears (Riverside, CA), witnessed Valley View's baseball team knock off Poly by a count of 11-8.

The Eagles now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Valley View will clash with a Bison team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Beaumont (Beaumont, CA). The Bison record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Poly drops to 2-3 on the year. The Bears travel to Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 17.
