In Saturday's non-league match, the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), by a count of 12-5.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) in a Southwest Wake match, on Monday, March 17. Apex will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Catamounts enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 17-1 league loss to Green Level (Cary, NC).
