March 15, 2025: Flowery Branch, GA 30542 In Saturday's league match, the Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA), by a count of 16-2.
Next up, the Bears confront the Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA) in a 2A Area 8 match, on Wednesday, March 19. Cherokee Bluff will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 3-6 record after their 18-0 league loss to North Oconee (Bogart, GA).
The Red Elephants (0-10) will now prepare for their match against Seckinger (Buford, GA). The Jaguars enter the 2A Area 8 match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Seckinger was overwhelmed by Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA), 17-1, in a league match.
