March 15, 2025: Jonesboro, LA 71251 Benton Tigers (Benton, LA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Weston Wolves (Jonesboro, LA), 28-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Benton upgrades its record to 11-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Ruston (Ruston, LA) to play the Bearcats in a non-league game on Saturday, March 15. The Bearcats enter the game with a record of 8-7. Ruston won 16-1 in their recent non-league game against Weston (Jonesboro, LA)
The Wolves now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Simsboro for a B District 1 game on Monday, March 17. Weston will play a Tigers squad coming off a 17-3 non-league win over Union Parish (Farmerville, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-5.
