Louisiana High School Softball - Evans topped by Captain Shreve
March 15, 2025: Evans, LA 70639 Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Evans Eagles (Evans, LA), 12-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Captain Shreve upgrades its record to 10-7 on the year. The Gators host Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA) to play the Chiefs in a 5A District 1 game on Tuesday, March 18. The Chiefs enter the game with a record of 4-12. Natchitoches Central lost 10-5 in their recent non-league game against St. Mary's Dominican (New Orleans, LA)
The Eagles now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Singer for a non-league game on Monday, March 17. Evans will play a Hornets squad coming off a 9-6 league loss to Starks (Starks, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 2-3.
