March 15, 2025: Pine Prairie, LA 70576 Pine Prairie Panthers (Pine Prairie, LA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Marksville Tigers (Marksville, LA), 13-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Pine Prairie upgrades its record to 17-2 on the year. The Panthers host North Vermilion (Maurice, LA) to play the Patriots in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 18. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 6-6.
The Tigers now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Sacred Heart for a non-league game on Monday, March 17. Marksville will play a Trojans squad coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Glenbrook (Minden, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-5.
