Vilonia Eagles (Vilonia, AR) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting North Little Rock Charging Wildcats (North Little Rock, AR), 17-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Vilonia upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Eagles host Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AR) to play the Titans in a 5A Central game on Tuesday, March 18. The Titans enter the game with a record of 2-4. Jacksonville won 17-7 in their recent non-league game against Batesville (Batesville, AR)

The Charging Wildcats now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mount St. Mary Academy for a non-league game on Monday, March 17.
