In Sunday's non-league challenge, the visiting Indiana Indians softball squad scored a good 9-1 triumph over the Franklin Regional Panthers.

Next, the Indians play the Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 18. Indiana will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.

The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson County overcame Grainger (Rutledge, TN), 14-4, in a non-league challenge.
