Georgia High School Baseball - Worth County loses to Fitzgerald
March 16, 2023: Sylvester, GA 31791 The Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Worth County Rams to 8 in the Purple Hurricane league victory on Thursday.
The Purple Hurricane (7-7) will now prepare for their match against Sumter County (Americus, GA). The Panthers go into the 2A Area 1 match with a 3-8 record. In their last match, Sumter County was overwhelmed by Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA), 8-0, in a league match.
The Rams (8-6) will now prepare for their match against Cook (Adel, GA). The Hornets go into the 2A Area 1 match with a 7-7 record. In their last match, Cook edged Crisp County (Cordele, GA), 8-0, in a non-league match.
