March 16, 2023: Powder Springs, GA 30127 Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Harrison Hoyas (Kennesaw, GA), 5-4 in a league test.
With the win, Hillgrove upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Hawks travel to McEachern (Powder Springs, GA) to play the Indians in a 7A Area 3 battle on Tuesday, March 21. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 11-6. McEachern won 9-8 in their recent league battle against North Paulding (Dallas, GA)
The Hoyas now possess a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marietta for a 7A Area 3 battle on Tuesday, March 21. Harrison will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Pope (Marietta, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-9.
