Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Mountain Pointe upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Pride travel to Higley (Gilbert, AZ) to battle the Knights in a 5A San Tan test on Friday, March 17. The Knights come into the test with a record of 4-6. Higley lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ)
