March 16, 2023: Lanett, AL 36863 Horseshoe Bend Generals (New Site, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Lanett Panthers (Lanett, AL), 20-0 in a league test.
With the win, Horseshoe Bend upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Generals travel to Cleburne County (Heflin, AL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 25. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 13-1.
With the defeat, Lanett falls to 0-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Booker T. Washington (Tuskegee, AL) to battle the Golden Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, April 3. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-8.
