March 16, 2023: Newport News, VA 23608 The Bruton Panthers (Williamsburg, VA) soccer nudged the host Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
With the win, Bruton moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Tallwood (Virginia Beach, VA) to battle the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, March 20. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Tallwood won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Manor (Portsmouth, VA)
In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Hampton Crabbers (Hampton, VA) in a Peninsula bout, on Tuesday, March 21. Woodside will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Crabbers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 13-0 league loss to Bethel (Hampton, VA).
